Scheduling and Payments from Good Judy's

Entertainers (DJ's and Other Performers) 


 Payment is made via Venmo exclusively at this time. You must "Request:" the payment first. This serves as you invoicing Good Judy's for your services. Once received, Good Judy's will remit usually within 24 hours. In the future, you will be required to manage your contracts, booking acceptance, payment requests, and deposit account information among other things in the XennBook App.

Tax Documents

1099 Forms will sent around the end of January for the previous year to the address on file open your W-9 Form, Should you move, it is your responsibility to update your address with us, 
 

Disputes

All rates must be in writing per the Good Judy's policy. Any commitment discussed but not memorialized in writing, is invalid. Maintain all conversations related to pay for your records. Should there be a conflict between the amount paid and the amount due from the Entertainer perspective, whichever amount that has been memorialized in writing will prevail. 

Employees


Employee are those of Xennent Group not Good Judy's You are supplied to Good Judy's per their contract for the services prescribed. Xennent Group Payroll is managed by  Payroll Partners and is issued every two weeks. Pay issued on a given date is for the 2 weeks prior to the beginning of pay week. Credit Card Tips are included in your check. We no longer tip out via Venmo nor do we tip out from the drawer.

Below are the 2026 Pay Rates for Good Judy's

  • Bartenders:  $10.00/hr.
  • Door Person/Security: $15,00/hr.
  • Bar Backs: $15.00/hr. + 3% of Net Sales as Tp Out from the Bartender
  • Sound/AV Assistants: $15.00/hr.
  • Cleaning Crew: $15.00/hr.
  • Trainers: $15.00/hr.


Scheduling

Employees are generally scheduled approximately 30 days in advance of the shift. If you have a time off request, please submit via the portal. Notification of your schedule will be sent to your  xennent.com email address once published. All roles are floating meaning you may be assigned to one or more Xennent managed bars during a period.The minimum shift length is 4 hours. You all never be cut before 4 hours have lapsed. if you are, you will still be paid for 4 hours. 

Last Minute Call Offs are subject to policy in the handbook. 1 in a calendar year will result in termination. Last Minute is considered within 8 hours of your scheduled shift. Non-Last Minute Call Offs are subject to the policy in the handbook. 3 in a calendar year if you work 2 or more shifts on average in a week or 2 in a calendar year if you work 1 or less shifts on average in a week which may result in termination.

Prior to your first training shift, all employees must complete their role-specific training, online training modules, pass any exams as well as obtain your Ohio Person-In-Charge Food License Level 1.. Complete training list is available in the Employee Handbook. As the Food Certification is not exclusive to a venue, you are responsible for the cost of that training. That amount will be deducted from your first check.

The last Sunday of every month is an All Hands Staff Meeting from 11am - 12:30pm that includes Parade Staff. This a paid meeting where all Employees receive the non-Bartender 2026 Hourly Rate ($15.00/hr.)
