Responsibilities
Guest Experience
- Welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and authenticity
- Learn guest names and preferences whenever possible
- Deliver friendly, attentive service throughout every interaction
- Create an atmosphere where guests feel welcomed, valued, and excited to return
Beverage Service
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, seasonal features, and specialty cocktails
- Verify identification and practice responsible alcohol service
- Monitor guest consumption and communicate concerns to management when appropriate
Operations
- Operate the Point of Sale system accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and stocking duties
- Assist with inventory organization and restocking throughout the shift
Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with cocktail servers, security, entertainers, and management
- Support teammates during busy periods
- Help maintain overall venue cleanliness and organization
- Communicate effectively throughout each shift
Community Engagement
- Learn the venue’s event calendar and confidently promote upcoming events
- Personally invite guests to return for future programming
- Share official Good Judy’s and her sister organization's promotions and events through your personal social media channels
- Create original social media content featuring cocktails, events, entertainers, coworkers, and the Good Judy’s and sister organization's experience
- Capture photos or short-form video content during shifts, when appropriate, for potential use on official marketing channels
- Represent Good Judy’s and her sister organizations professionally both inside and outside the workplace.
- Contribute ideas for future events, promotions, and guest engagement opportunities
Qualifications
Preferred:
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Experience With:
- Beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation
- Responsible alcohol service
- Point of Sale systems
- Cash handling
- Customer service
Bonus Skills:
- Cocktail knowledge
- Craft beer or wine knowledge
- Event promotion
- Photography or social media
- Hospitality sales
Note: Cocktail Servers may be just entering the Service Field with minimal Bartending Experience or Skills.

Physical Requirements
Applicants should be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
This position regularly requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time, often for the duration of an entire shift
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, including cases of beer, liquor, ice, kegs (with assistance when appropriate), tables, chairs, and other supplies
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, and climb while performing assigned duties
- Work quickly and safely in crowded, fast-paced, and sometimes loud environments
- Use hands and arms continuously for serving beverages, operating equipment, cleaning, stocking, and handling merchandise
- Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers in environments with elevated noise levels.
- Work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions during special events, festivals, patios, and venue operations
- Respond quickly to changing situations, including emergencies and guest service needs
- Safely navigate wet floors, uneven surfaces, stairs, and crowded spaces while carrying beverages, supplies, or equipment
Work Environment
This position regularly involves:
- Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday work
- Exposure to loud music, theatrical lighting, fog or haze effects, and crowded entertainment environments
- Frequent interaction with alcohol service and intoxicated guests
- High levels of guest interaction throughout every shift
- A team-oriented environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential

- $10.00 per hour plus tips with a 4 hour minimum shift (Bartenders)
- $10.00 per hour plus 3% Net Sales (Cocktail Servers)
- 2 hours of Paid Content Creation/Editing Time per month at $15.00/hr
